THE EASTWARDS TEAM

The nucleus of Eastwards consists of an experienced team of motivated people. Proud on their respective countries, but with a realistic view on their possibilities and thresholds, the Eastwards staff knows the foreigner traps as well as how to avoid them. They are familiar with how West-Europeans and Americans like to do business. That's what makes them your ideal gateway for doing business in their countries. All staff members work with a network of local people with experiences in different fields.

Besides the fixed staff members, Eastwards works with a team of approximately 90 free lancers from 15 different Central and Eastern European countries. Some of them are linguist, others are economists. But they have at least one common attribute: they are specialists in their field, they perform their tasks according to Eastwards procedures and quality standards, and they are very much committed to open your market, translate your texts, and guide you trough the business opportunities waiting for you in their country.

Why be interested in translating your brochures and texts? Apart from the fact that foreign language knowledge is still rather low in CEE countries, each country has its own linguistic identity of which is very proud. Why be interested in Central Europe? Closer to Brussels than for example southern France or Italy, several Central European countries are rapidly developing into growing domestic markets. A lot of German, US and Austrian companies invested already in the region, creating a rising demand in the construction sector and the machinery sector. It is definitely a unique chance for many businesses to have this happening in their vicinity. Some of your competitors will already be producing or selling there. Local Central European companies will soon compete you on your own domestic market. No company can afford not to consider the possibilities and threats of Central Europe.
