country info

Estonian belongs to the Finno-Ugric group of languages. Estonian uses a Latin alphabet and is similar to Finnish, and most Estonians (especially those living in the northern part of the country) can understand Finish. Contrary to common belief, Estonian isn’t related to the Baltic languages, Latvian and Lithuanian. Interesting enough, Estonian has no articles, no gender, no aspects of verbs, and no prepositions; instead, there are many postpositions. Using Russian in Estonia is definitely a bad idea.
